Resources for cultural education partnerships
We were commissioned by Artswork (Arts Council England's Bridge Organisation for the South-East of England) to undertake a developmental evaluation of the 13 local cultural education partnerships (LCEPs) in their region.
Emerging from this is a series of tools and resources for LCEPs, which have been published by Artswork.
Currently available in this series are:
Overview of South East Cultural Education Partnerships
In the South East, there are currently 15 Cultural Education Partnerships at various stages of development. This resource outlines what a CEP is, and how the different partnerships across the South East have developed and carried out their work since 2015.

Evolution of a Cultural Education Partnership
The average time taken for a Cultural Education Partnership to go from first meetings to project delivery is just short of three years. Although there may be ways to speed up this process, fundamentally CEPs are about change, and change takes time, sustained effort, work and resource from all involved. This resource looks at a ‘model’ CEP development journey, providing information on the processes involved and questions to be asked at each stage, to aid with future CEP development.

Identifying the Aims and Vision of a Cultural Education Partnership
This resource has been developed to help Cultural Education Partnerships identify, articulate and communicate their aim and focus. The ability to shape this narrative is a valuable way to galvanise CEP partnerships and ensure everyone has the same understanding of their work. This can then also be used to advocate, fundraise and bring in new partners.
